Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Losers Queue Checker (“we”, “us”, the “Service”), available at losersqueue.eu, accesses when you use it, how that information is used, and the choices you have. The Service is a free tool that analyses recent League of Legends ranked matches to estimate whether matchmaking patterns may be working against a player.
1. Who we are
Losers Queue Checker is an independent hobby project operated by the site owner (“Gráňa”). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. You can reach us on Telegram at @granyaxd with any privacy questions or requests.
2. Information we access
Depending on how you use the Service, we may access the following:
- Riot ID and region you search. When you look up a player, you provide a Riot ID (game name and tagline) and a region. We use these to request data from the Riot Games API.
- Riot account data via Riot Sign-On (RSO). If you choose to sign in with your Riot account, Riot authenticates you and shares a stable account identifier (PUUID) and basic account details (such as your game name and tagline) so we can look up your matches. We never see your Riot password — sign-in happens entirely on Riot’s systems.
- Game data from the Riot Games API. To produce an analysis we retrieve publicly available game information such as summoner level, profile icon, ranked tier, and recent Solo/Duo ranked match details.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our server may process standard request information (such as IP address and browser user-agent) in logs for security, rate-limiting, and to keep the Service running.
We do not ask for or collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly process data from children under the age required by Riot’s Terms of Service.
3. How we use information
- To authenticate you through Riot Sign-On and identify which account to analyse.
- To fetch match data from the Riot Games API and generate your analysis and verdict.
- To create optional shareable result links and preview images when you choose to share.
- To operate, secure, rate-limit, and improve the Service.
We do not sell your data. We may show advertising from Google AdSense to help cover hosting costs; see Section 5 for how that works and the choices you have.
4. Storage and retention
We keep as little as possible, and we do not store copies of your match history — matches are fetched from the Riot Games API each time you view them. What we do store is listed below.
- Analysis results are generated on demand and shown to you in your browser. We do not keep the analysis itself.
- Sign-in sessions. If you sign in with Riot, we store your account identifier (PUUID), your Riot ID, your region, and the access token Riot issues us, so that you stay signed in between visits. A session expires 30 days after you last use it, and is deleted immediately when you sign out.
- Player index. To offer name search — which the Riot API itself does not provide — we keep a directory of publicly available player entries: Riot ID, region, profile icon, summoner level and ranked tier. This applies to any player who appears on the Service, whether or not they have ever signed in.
- Check history. When a losers-queue check completes, we log that the Riot ID was checked, along with its rank and verdict at the time, to power the public history page.
- Shared result links are stored temporarily in server memory and automatically deleted after 24 hours (or sooner). They are only created if you explicitly generate a share link.
- Server logs containing technical data are kept only as long as needed for security and operational purposes, then rotated or deleted.
5. Cookies and local storage
If you sign in with Riot Sign-On we set a strictly necessary cookie
(rso_session) holding a random session token, plus a short-lived cookie
during the sign-in redirect itself. Both are essential for the login feature to work;
neither is used for advertising or tracking. Signing out deletes the cookie and the
session behind it.
We also use Google AdSense to show advertising on the Service, which helps cover hosting costs. AdSense may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve ads and measure how they perform; some of these may be used to personalize the ads you see based on your activity on this and other sites. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you will see a consent message before any non-essential advertising cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time through that message. You can also manage or opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. See Google’s How Google uses information from sites that use their services for details.
6. Third parties
We rely on the following third parties to provide the Service:
- Riot Games — for authentication (RSO) and game data through the Riot Games API. Your use of Riot Sign-On is also governed by Riot’s own Privacy Notice and Terms of Service.
- Our hosting provider — the server infrastructure that runs the Service and processes requests on our behalf.
- Google AdSense — for serving advertising on the Service. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location (for example, under the EU/EEA GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data relating to you, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not keep a persistent profile of you, most data is transient. You can revoke the Service’s access to your Riot account at any time from your Riot account settings. To make a request or ask a question, message us on Telegram at @granyaxd.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
